A.MANNESMANN: Part of the SCHNEEBERGER Group

As part of a strategic company succession and the long-term assurance of the company's success on the global market, A.MANNESMANN has been part of the globally present SCHNEEBERGER corporate group, headquartered in Roggwil, Switzerland, since October 01, 2017.

As a specialist and hidden champion for ball screws, actuators and other machine elements, A.MANNESMANN MASCHINENFABRIK GmbH is in global demand when it comes to high-precision linear technology products. The economically and technically excellently-positioned company is ideally equipped for the future with a big order backlog, efficient procedural structures in production and an ultra-modern new production hall for ball screws.

The transfer of shares and responsibility of the previous owner Max W. Schenck to Dr. Hans-Martin Schneeberger was agreed upon in the best partnership. The leading figures have known each other for many years and are convinced they have created an excellent basis for a successful future together for A.MANNESMANN and SCHNEEBERGER. With the merger, two leading companies in linear technology perfectly brought together their complementary products. A.MANNESMANN gains the sales network of SCHNEEBERGER with its own sales companies in China, the US, India, Japan, Singapore and Korea with established customer relationships. The new opportunity to develop technical solutions together will offer customers a high added value in the future. The A.MANNESMANN team with all its valued employees is now a valuable and effective part of this organization. The range of services will be fully preserved and the Remscheid location will continue to be expanded.

Dr.-Ing. Wilhelm Brunner continues to be responsible for the business management and Mr. Dirk Schäfer is still responsible for the commercial management. After detailed information, both the workforce as well as the works council welcome this strategic step for the future of the company and express their thanks for the responsible completion of the corporate succession to the departing shareholder Max W. Schenck who will still be available in an advisory capacity after 30 years of management.
