Overview of 1-Stage Linear Actuators with Electric Cylinder
The 1-stage linear actuator is a traditional electric cylinder where the drive power of the motor is transmitted to the ball screw spindle by a belt drive. The nut of the ball screw is firmly connected to the movable sleeve. The solid guide tube that absorbs the transverse forces ensures that it is axially guided very precisely. The acting axial forces are directly dissipated in the tensile and compressive direction via a unilateral spindle bearing and the drive housing in the machine environment.
High Flexibility in Application
The linear actuator is a functional unit that can be used to implement demanding drive and positioning tasks. These tasks include displacement movements of components with complex, path-dependent processes as well as pressing and joining tasks with direct force-path evaluation.
Application Areas
Linear actuators are increasingly replacing traditionally used hydraulic drives, in plastic machines for example. Depending on the task and its framework conditions, a wide variety of designs are required that can be used to achieve a higher level of precision, a shorter cycle time and lower energy consumption.
